If you were to Google search ‘Michael Hasson,’ you would find more images of my father than of me. My dad has had, and still has, a huge influence on me and my style of leadership at Complete Health Group
Born in the late 1940s in a small Irish village, Michael Senior always had a strong sense of community and being part of something bigger than himself. At the age of 17, he joined the local Gaelic Football Committee. Little did he know at the time, but this was the start of a journey in sports administration that would span 60 years. This culminated in Michael being elected as chairperson of the Ulster Council, a large provincial council responsible for governing 600 sports clubs and 250,000 members.
Perhaps a chip off the old block, I try to instill the same leadership qualities into my staff. I try to exercise his cool demeanour when speaking to managers and clients. Most importantly though, it’s great to be a part of something bigger. A team and healthcare community, whose purpose is to provide physical rehabilitation to our clients, work with our participants to keep them independent and living at home and to nip health issues in the bud before they require hospitalisation.
Who has influenced your style of leadership?
